Tax Amnesty Exceeds Estimates
Chief Deputy Comptroller Linda Tanton advised the House Ways & Means Committee yesterday that last fall’s tax amnesty program has generated $26.1 million in receipts to date, far in excess of the $5 to $10 million projected.
