Special Session Starts Monday
Governor Martin O’Malley issued an Executive Order yesterday calling the Maryland General Assembly into special session on Monday, October 17, to approve a congressional redistricting plan. The congressional districts must be redrawn every 10 years to maintain equal population.
The executive order does not mention a jobs bill, transportation funding, or other legislation, but we will watch closely and keep you posted of developments.
