Photos from Anne Arundel County Legislative Mixer
A group of Anne Arundel County chambers of commerce held a legislative mixer last night at Madison Interiors in Odenton. The chambers included: Northern Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce, Western Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce, Greater Severna Park Chamber of Commerce and Greater Crofton Chamber of Commerce.
I really liked how the event was formatted. Instead of having each lawmaker speak from a podium, they were each assigned an area in the showroom. Attendees could then sit down and chat with lawmakers in a relaxed atmosphere. They were given an opportunity to describe their businesses and speak with their legislators about their priorities. Great interaction between business people and members of the General Assembly and County Council. Here are some photos:
