Maryland Chamber Bill Positions
The Maryland Chamber of Commerce’s Legislative Committee meets each Monday during the General Assembly session to review bills of importance to the business community. Bills are brought to the committee by the Chamber’s legislative staff and our public policy committees that track key issues.
By Wednesday, we post the Chamber’s positions on our website. On each bill page, we include a bill summary, position summary, bill history when available, and the Maryland Chamber staffer assigned to the bill. By the hearing date, we update the bill page to include a pdf of the Chamber’s complete position statement.
