Executive Committee Meets with House Speaker Busch

The Maryland Chamber’s Executive Committee met with House Speaker Michael Busch last Friday during Business Day in Annapolis.

Included in the issues discussed were the state budget, unemployment insurance legislation, transportation funding, and the state of the economy.
The Speaker emphasized that new taxes should be off the table this session to aid in the economic recovery and touched on the need to build up the transportation trust fund.

The Maryland Chamber’s 2010 Business Agenda focuses on encouraging economic growth and job creation. For more information on our 2010 priorities, click here.
