DLLR Addresses Workforce Opportunities in Federal Recovery Package
Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation Secretary Tom Perez gave a briefing to members of the Maryland business community last week on the potential impacts of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act on the Maryland workforce. View his two-page handout here.
Assistant Secretary for Workforce Development Andy Moser, Governor’s Workforce Investment Board Director Eric Seleznow, and Policy Development Director Elisabeth Sachs joined Perez and spoke about programs and grants made available by the federal stimulus package to assist businesses expand and retain their workforce.
