The U.S. Congress passed a two-year transportation and transit funding bill last week. The more than $100 billion transportation bill continues federal spending on roads, bridges and infrastructure projects through October 2014.
The Maryland Chamber supports investing in infrastructure because it will create jobs and enhance America’s competitiveness. The legislation passed both houses by wide margins. Here is how the Maryland delegation voted:
